Buy Buy Baby rave....

Ok so they arent paying me to say this or anything but i am SO IMPRESSED with this company. We just had a Buy Buy Baby open up near me and I'm in love. I got asked by 4 separate sales associates while I was browsing the store if I needed anything. When I was trying to pick out nipple cream (there's like 50 kinds and i didn't do my research so I was standing there for awhile lol) the lady came up while i was holding something in my hand and she was like "No mam! If you're going to use gel soothers don't use this cream with it because it's like tar and when you try to peel it off you'll feel like you've waxed your nipple right off!" and it made me laugh and i was grateful that she stepped in to save me from myself.

Today was my second trip and I went in gleefully clutching a huge fistful of coupons that were given to me at my last baby shower because pretty much everyone in my area got their mass-mailing of grand-opening coupons and a lot of my clients have been randomly bringing them in for me. They took every.single.coupon.... and bent the rules on a lot of them. They even took a bed, bath and beyond coupon that expired a year ago and i just read the date wrong. I saved over $95!!

Anyways I don't know if they are just being super nice since they just opened and want to get their reputation up or if that's just how all Buy But Babies are, but I had a great experience and saved a lot of money and just wanted to share.

    I LOVE bbb too! I did 95% of my baby shopping there! The staff is always so nice and everytime I go in there I always get offered a mini bottle of water. Their great customer service and awesome coupon policy is what keeps me going back there hehe

    Yes, they are awesome! We only had BRU locally when DS1 was born and I HATED them with a passion. This time I did a small registry at BBB and their customer service is just worlds apart from BRU. I am stockpiling my coupons for a trip over there this weekend.

    I so wish we had a BBB around here, all we have is stinky BRU and they are not nice nor are they good about accepting coupons.

    I also love that BBB's coupons, while not covering everything, don't have nearly the level of exclusions that BRU has (why do they even give coupons when half the things you want aren't eligible, arg!!).

    They're better than BRU for sure, but the BBB by me at least is nowhere near what the other PPs have experienced.  So you're not necessarily missing out so much . . .

    Just wanted to let you know, I used to work at Bed Bath and Beyond which is owned by the same company and you should always be able to use their coupons even if they are expired (I have used ones that were years old at Bed Bath and Beyond) and the customer service should be great because they employ secret shoppers on a monthly basis to make sure the associates are being helpful.  :)  You should also be able to use Bed Bath and Beyond coupons at Buy Buy Baby so stockpile all the ones you can find!

    BBB is THE BEST. FYI, if you didn't know, they have specially trained employees to help you with stroller and car seat purchases. We went about 2 months ago to get DD a convertible car seat since #2 will need the infant bucket seat. The employee spent 30+ minutes with us, reviewing each seat, listening to our requirements, etc. He then brought the sample seats out of the store to our car, showed us how they installed and even fit DD in them! He was genuinely concerned with her fit, our need to ERF due to DD's tiny stature and the size of our car an accommodating 2 seats. I was amazing service. A couple weeks ago we went to buy our double stroller, which I had extensively researched and chosen out (Graco Ready 2 Grow). Another employee ended up spending another 30+ minutes with us, he brought the stroller out to the car to make sure it would fold/fit into the trunk. It didn't! I was devastated. He continued to bring stroller after stroller (8 or 9? Maybe even 10?) out to our car to help us find one that we could use. When we finally found one, they didn't have the color in stock I wanted. So he ordered it online, with free shipping and applied my registry completion coupon to it since it was a brand I couldn't use my 20% off coupon for. I can't say enough about their amazing employees. Their training is top notch, unlike the BRU employees, who are always completely useless.

    Soooo wish we had a BBB near us.  Though our BRU really isn't that bad.
