2nd Trimester

It beginning to look a lot like Christmas!?!

I was suddenly in the mood for Christmas music so I put my Ipod on my Christmas playlist, first song... It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" - Bing Crosby.   I look outside my window at work and I see Palm Trees...  and then got all depressed, you see I am from Utah where it is always snowing.  I guess I should be happy I don't have shovel off my walk or dig my car but I doesn't feel like Christmas or Thanksgiving at that matter.  Enjoy the snow!

Re: It beginning to look a lot like Christmas!?!

  • I'm sorry but I'm laughing at you:-) As long as your holiday is spent with your family and friends I'm sure it will be a great one. I haven't seen snow in years so I guess I can't relate to why you miss it. :hugs:

  • i can relate, we had christmas in palm desert one year and it was wierd!  just deck out the inside of your house and close the blinds =)
  • I've been listening to Christmas music here and there the last 2 days.  It's in the 70's here in Austin, Texas.   SUCKS.  I am ready for the COLD weather....please????

  • lol i am the exact opposite...i'm used to the plam trees, and now its normal and snowy haha

i miss the palm trees lol

but i do love the snow

  • I definitely don't miss the snow but I know what you mean when you step outside and its 78 degrees and there are palm trees and people laying out by the pool. You look on TV and everyone perpetuates these 2 holidays in particular to accompany snow and warm clothes and fire places and hot cups of cocoa. Be happy though. You have a lot to be thankful for I am sure!!

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

  • Don't worry, I live in Utah and it is still totally fall here. Wink
  • Thanks for the support!  I'm really not that depressed about it, I am just being dramatic!  I will be going home for Christmas so I will get my white Christmas and then be able to go back to Cali to 70 degree weather, best of both worlds.  HAPPY THANKSGIVING LADIES!!!

  • I have lived in Cali my whole life so I am fine with not having snow for the Holidays.....although outside my window it is pouring rain so I am just as sad as you
