Mods after the change in format!

So, this board will need a mod after the format change.  I'm a mod over on TN and it's kind of a nightmare right now - all the issues.  And after the format changes, Mods no longer have the ability to moderate ANYTHING except their own boards.  Previously, mods were able to moderate spam and things like that on boards they didn't specifically moderate.  ANYWAY, I'd personally be more than happy to mod this board for the time being at least (I think the format change happens next week or something) but if anyone else would want to do it, let me know and I can rec' you to Bump Kathleen on the mod board.  Just a thought.  :-)

    Once the dust settles, the new format will be great.   I came over here from TK (still post over there, too, never got big on TN posting) and a lot of things are easier to do - editing, posting pictures, adding links.  The first few weeks could be a bit ugly as the kinks get worked out.  Hopefully lessons learned from the TN conversion will help.  But, I really hope they get some of the issues on the TK system worked out so they don't pop up over here - lost posts are a big issue!

    Thank you for offering!  I have no idea what it takes to moderate a board, so if you're willing to do it, I'm sure that we would all appreciate it!

    my anniversary board, which i am active on, just switched over yesterday. we can't see most of the posts. some we can see we open and they are totally blank. that was from my iphone but i haven't tried yet from my desktop (IE) to see if it's any better. i am glad we had set up a facebook board. some of us on that board have been used to chatting for 5 years so when the board is down it's nice to have an alternative.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    ETA: What it takes to be a mod is just being a part of the board, committing to spending a few hours a week on it, and keeping an eye out for Spam and TOU violations. It's not difficult. 

    This, exactly.  It's not as "big" of a deal as it sounds like it would be.  :-)
