Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Need sleep sack help/recs

We recently weaned from the swaddle and I really like sleep sacks. We have an aden & anais sleepsack which I LOVE-- but my magic baby has found a way to break through the zipper at night. He tends to pick up his legs and move/kick at times, and I guess the zipper isn't strong enough. He's always completely out of it when I go get him, and the zipper is like off-track/stuck and it's such a PITA. The only other sleepsack we have is a gro bag, and I love it but it's too small-- he's too long for it. I like that the zipper is on the side, but I guess on all older models, the zipper is in the front, sigh. Can anyone recommend a sleepsack that provides plenty of room, has a STRONG zipper, is warm/soft, and your baby sleeps well in? We have fairly mild weather so I'm not worried about too much warmth with the coming summer months.

TIA!

  • We have Halo and Carters sleepsacks. I like them both, although the Carters are all fleece so we're going to put those away for the summer.

I agree with the above posts. We use the halo and love it. ours is sleveless so we will beable to sue it in the summer but it is also warm enough to use now with some footie jammies. I need to buy another one actually.
  • I also love the Halo sleeveless sacks. DS never liked to be swaddled, so I've been using them from early on. I have both the thicker fleece ones and the light weight cotton ones (depending on the temperature). He is still in size small (currently weighs 16 lbs.) but almost ready to go up to size medium.  I usually dress him in a long-sleeve onsie first.
