Pregnant after a Loss

It's a Freakout Day for me too

Two days ago all my symptoms disappeared. No soar boobs, no round ligament pain when I get up suddenly, no nausea (after being in bed for days). Today I'm so nervous. I feel a little woozy but almost more to do with the nerves. I feel a little cramping on the left size of my uterus which makes me thing (omg am I miscarrying???) but it could just be normal stretches.

We saw the HB last week and I have an ultrasound tomorrow but I'm just so darn nervous about feeling better and what that might mean.

  • I'm sure everything is fine.  You are probably just so anxious about your u/s tomorrow that you are so wound up you think your symptoms are gone.  Symptoms have nothing to do with the success of a pg.  With my DS, I had ZERO symptoms other than missed periods and weight gain starting in 2nd tri.  He was a perfect little baby delivered at 40w4d.  With my loss, my symptoms started after the baby had already passed, but before I started to m/c.  Try not to worry.  I hope your little bean is a major show off at your scan tomorrow.

  • I know it's hard, but please remember that symptoms don't necessarily mean that anything is going good or bad with the baby, they are just reactions to hormones and wax and wane. If you are really concerned though, I would say give your OB clinic a call and speak to a nurse....if for no other reason then to help give you some piece of mind (as much as you can in PgAL anyhow).

    ((HUGS)) to you.

  • Don't worry, I'm sure everything is fine.  When I was pregnant with my daughter, I, like the PP, had zero symptoms other than no period and (eventually) a baby bump.  I'm sure you're baby is doing just fine!! :)
