  I just got the email too. I would rather have the 2 car seats but I appreciate the gift card as an apology. Mistakes happen but it is nice that they are making this effort.

  Did you notice the disclaimer that by using the gift card you waive any further claims against Target for the incident?  i wonder if they are expecting a lawsuit and doing this to preempt it.
