How much formula does your baby eat in a 24 hour period? My daughter is 10.5 weeks old, weighs 10lb 6 oz, and eats 18-20 oz/day. I am worried she is not eating enough. She has reflux and is on Zantac. TIA!
My LO is 11 weeks today and was 10lb 8 oz last Friday). She eats 25 oz in a day (5 feedingd of 5 oz each). I think we bumped her up from 4 oz per feeding (so 20 oz total) a little over a week ago. But she doesn't have reflux. Does your LO have a decent # of pee diapers?

yes, everytime i change her, about 6-8 times a day she's wet.
With our twins we are at 36oz a day..so 8-6 feedings at 4.5 oz. I plan on stepping that up to 5 oz next week. I just use the formula of their weight x 2.5. We started out as 4 pounders and we are now right about 10.5 each going into our 4th month. We don't have reflux issues either, but it sounds like you've go medicine on your side. We do have spit ups some times, but if it happens I slow the pace of eating. Like feed for 10 minutes or so and then burp and then back to feeding. It seems to work well for us! Good Luck!

Then I would say she's probably fine. I worried about the same thing, back when she was only drinking 20 oz/day, and then I went to her appointment and her doctor wasn't worried at all. She's alert and happy when she's awake, she's not asking for more food, she's peeing and she's growing.
My son is 12 weeks old he eats about 20 ounces in a 24 hour period. He just started Zantac and he takes cereal twice a day. He weighed 12 pounds 12 ounces at his appt today. I was thinking the same thing, that he wasn't eating enough but my doctor said his weight was perfect and was in the 75%tile.

My daughter is 3 months old and typically drinks between 18-20 z a day. Some days it's as little as 15 oz though. No reflux.
She was born at 8 pounds 9 oz, 20", and at two months she was only 9 pounds 11 oz, 23". I was worried about her since she wasn't eating much but since she has plenty of wet diapers and was growing so much in length the doctor wasn't worried at her two month appointment and she wasn't even drinking as much then as I mentioned above.
