Please try to come - Jane Doe and John Smith are getting married at around 1pm we appreciate gift cards, cash or checks for gifts if you decide to come or just send to us. the reception will be at golden corral be prepared to pay for your own dinner will be around $15.00 we will provide a cake i hope to see you there respond as soon a possible so we know how many people would like to attend thanks god bless you all love Jane and John.

This would be so much easier then what I am going through right now. I think I am changing my whole wedding now, lol.
I do not think it's a joke at all - this girl posts some very odd stuff on FB and it doesn't actually surprise me that they're serious!
I thought the same thing about the cake though - save your money and have people eat the dessert buffet, duh!!

And this is why I have a love-hate relationship with FB. Some people post the most ridic crap.

How many FB friends does she have, and are they all invited? It's so obvious they are just out to get money from everyone. I didn't even include the little gift registry cards from Target in our invitations. But I guess times have changed in the past 4 years.
Times must have changed in the past 9 months, because we had our ceremony last August and I didn't include registry cards, either! OP, I really think you should go... it's 15 bucks for the meal, but the experience will be priceless!
