Sometimes Facebook really knows how to bring out my old bitter IF feelings.

I just saw this post to someone I know who is very young and got pregnant a year after she was married. "congrats, you deserve this more than anyone I know..." ugh... I really shouldn't find that sort of thing annoying anymore, since I am so thrilled and happy with my life, but I still do.

    i have discussed this many times with my other fertility-challenged friends- no matter how lucky and happy we are, there is always a little sting when someone announces they are pregnant like that.

    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     That comment would have irritated me too.  I get the same bitter and jealous feelings that I used to anytime I see a pregnancy announcement.  A friend just announced her pregnancy on Facebook at 4 weeks along and it brought it all back.

    Me (32) Dx PCOS, DH (32) SA = Normal/mild morph issues
    TTC#5 July 2017 - 3rd cycle TTC = BFP on 11/12/17 at 9dpo Beta #1 = 96 at 13dpo - Beta #2 = 207 at 15dpo
    TTC#1  starting Nov. 2009
    3 rounds of Clomid + TI and 3 rounds of 7.5 mg Femara + IUI before our BFP on 11/8/10 at 12dpiui
    TTC #2 3rd cycle of Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 4 follies = BFP on 10/12/12 
    TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks 
    Macy Annabelle born at 37w4d on 4/29/15.  Diagnosed with Cri du Chat and passed away on 6/6/15.  Forever in our hearts.
    TTC#4 3rd cycle of Metformin + Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 3 follies = BFP on 12/24/16

    I hear ya! It seems like there have been a ton of FB pg announcements lately. It took me by surprise how my old, angry, and bitter IF feelings resurfaced. My SIL is pg and while I'm super grateful to have my DS, I'm jealous that she got pg so easily and will probably have an easy, breezy pg.

    Y'all make me feel normal again.  Thank you!  My IF experience, as insanely lucky as I know I am now, has changed me forever, and I will just never be the same again.  Period.  And I've decided it's not something I need to defend, either.  Life leaves scars and this is one of them.
