Baby girl will have an Irish last name, so I feel like her first name needs to be Irish or at least sound like it could be Irish. I am also a fan of classic names that are somewhat underused today. Any suggestions? TIA!
I also love Bridget, and if it wasn't the name of my (Irish) in-laws dog it would have been on our list. The traditional Irish spelling is Brigid, also very pretty.
I also like Bridget/Brigid. Other options are Aileen, Aisling, Caitriona/Caitlin, Erin, Fiona, Kelly, Kiera, Maired, Marin, Maura/Maureen, Moira, Quinn, Sinead, Siobhan, Tallulah...
I LOVE Maeve, but not crazy about the meaning ("she who intoxicates"). Fiona and Nora(h) are also pretty. Bridget seems dated to me, but perhaps it's making a comeback??

Re: Classic Irish Girl Names?
I love Bridget, too. I also love Mairead, though this one does have pronunciation issues.

Also Siobhan, Saoirse, and Fallon.
I'm not sure what you mean by "classic," do you mean:
Kathleen, Margaret, Brigid, Patricia, Deirdre, Nora, etc.
Or more traditional Irish names like:
Aisling, Maeve, Aine, Siobhan, Nuala, Roisin, Naimbh
This!
I have a Moira & Maeve, so obviously I'm into this sort!
I love Mairead, Siobahn, Neala, Brigid/Bridget, Fiona,Kerry, Aine, & Aiofe.
I love Maeve and Fiona. Beautiful!
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
