My doctor has scheduled me for induction a week from today. As my cervix is currently closed, he says we will need to use Cervidil to prep my cervix for labor, which could take up to a couple of days to work. I have been researching Cervidil and it says that it may not be safe to BF after using this. Have any of you women used Cervidil during induction? If so, how long did it take to work and were you able to BF your baby after use? TIA!

Re: Cervidil & induction?
My Chart
I was induced with my first and they used Cervadil. They put it in for 12 hours and after that they started Pitocin. From start to finish my induction was close to 24 hours.
They never said anything about not being able to BF afterwards.
