I am a born and bred Long Islander and have the accent to prove it (although not as strong as DH).   Nicholas of course is born and being raised in the south.   Now that he is talking a ton- it's so cute to hear his little Southern twang.

Re: I am digging Nicholas' southern twang
I get a lot of comments on mine, even though I don't think I have one:)
It's so cute when kids have the twang.

Cute!
My little sister (well she is 22) moved down to Alabama at 18 for college and she now has a twang! It's so strange to hear it though!
