Let's talk cervical mucus

When you chart do you take note of the cervical fluid?  I still haven't gone and gotten a thermometer but (tmi at this point). Had noticed I was very dry and now there is definitely a difference in mucus.  I believe I would be at cd 9 so could this change in mucus be a sign of ovulation?

    I chart my CM and it changes throughout my cycle.  I am on CD9 as well and it is getting thinner and more abundant.  I usually don't ovulate until at least CD 14.  Charting will hlep you to notice and make sense of the patterns you see in CM, BBT and other stuff.  I highly recommend it.  That being said, you are probably seeing the normal shift in CM for your cycle but you are a little early to be ovulating IMO.

    Actually one more ques.  One website I was reading said to start having sex per-ovulation.  Would this be the time we should do that?

    The same thing happens to my CM. 

    Yes, you need to have sex in the days leading up to ovulation and/or the day of ovulation. After your temp rises, it is (usually) too late. You don't need every day and the days closest to actual ovulation day are better than the ones 5 days before.

    I highly suggest reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility or browse the Fertility Friend website at the very least.  You will learn a lot and it will help you!  Grab some OPK tonight and when you get a + hump it out for a few days.  Until then I would say EOD.

    I agree!

    Also, fertility friend has a charting course online that helps a lot and gives you some great info.
