1) I found a ton of Elmo stuff at the dollar store yesterday! I put it all in a bag in the trunk of my car for our trip.
2) I am super nervous about flying because a) I HATE to fly and b) I have to worry about Ky.
3) My wife has informed me she will have to live on take out and frozen pizza while I am gone.
4) She also asked me if I was going to do laundry before I left so she would have stuff to wear to work while I am gone.
5) Anyone want to take a stab at what my toddler wanted when she cried for a "guppy" the whole way from the sitter's house to home?
6) I need to be better about making Ky a dinner the night before and sticking it in the fridge. As soon as we walk in from the sitter's she signs/says eat and runs for her high chair. She has had frozen chicken nuggets and veggies for way too many meals lately....
7) I am going out to lunch today and I have already picked out what I am having: a spinach salad with avacado, bacon, homemade croutons, and balsamic vingagerette topped with a poached egg. YUM!
8) I just realized I forgot the cupcake wrapper for Ky's party and box tops for Ann's aunt. I told her I would bring them to her today so she could start planning Ky's birthday invite.
9) The wrappers are red, white, and blue. I cannot wait to snap up all of the excess partyware after the 4th of July on deep discounts!
10) I made cookie pizza (chocolate chip cookie dough, sugared cream cheese, and chocolate pudding topped with pecans) on Saturday and there are still two small pieces in the fridge...they are calling my name.
1. The only thing that keeps Pumpkin occupied in the offfice is this ridiculous "Fifty" medal L won at a 50 mile relay. Seriously, Fifty Cent should wear it around his neck.
2. That and a Rosie the Riveter doll. he's a well-rounded boy.
3. I have SO MANY things to cook for this weekend. Zucchini is spending the weekend, and we're doing Mother's Day here for about 12. I want all the Mother's Day stuff in the freezer by Friday afternoon.
4. It will be at 2pm, but I like brunch, so I'm calling it Brupper.
5. Menu: mimosas, 2 quiche (one crustless, so it's Gluten-free), coconut chicken fingers, zucchini tots, spinach salad, strawberry goat cheese bruschetta, frozen banana bites. What would you add?
6. I went to the YMCA yesterday. When I went to pick Pumpkin up, another baby (4 mo. old) was propped up with a bottle propped in her mouth. Now I have another excuse/fear not to work out.
7. I really want to know if Carrot is coming next weekend. I haven't heard from our social worker in two weeks. Which isn't that long, but we talk all the time.
2. We registered Henry for a toddler "preschool" program for the fall, but they had an opening for the last 7 weeks of school, so we went ahead and got him started last week. He goes two mornings per week for 4 hours and he LOVES it.
3. I am so glad to have found somewhere, close to home, that he loves and I feel great about sending him to. It's such a great place, with so many fun things for him to do and wonderful teachers.
4. The break we are both getting from each other is invaluable.
5. I am hanging in.
6. It has been really hard to feel like a single parent for months, when that is never what I hoped to be. Work should be slowing down soon for C.
7. Henry's 2nd bday party this weekend was so much fun. He soaked it all up and had a fabulous time. He kept saying "birthday" and "party" and pretending to blow out candles. Way more cuteness than I could handle.
8. As fun as it was, it was also exhausting. Playing party hostess and hostess to my inlaws who were in from out of town was fun, but it was a lot, especially with how I've been feeling lately.
9. I started going to therapy about a month ago, which is a help. I'm just working on feeling better. One step at a time.
10. Thanks to everyone who's sent kind words my way. I appreciate them, and I miss you guys.
I'm so happy to see you around here And I'm seriously impressed that you are doing such a great job at recognizing there is an issue and getting help to address it. I hope between the preschool, C's schedule lifting, and therapy you are feeling back to yourself soon - i know how scary that dark place can be.
1. I tore the end of my pinkie toe open yesterday on the corner of a door and just now peeled the skin off the back of my heel on the same foot. Ouch.
2. Apple is teething.......rough night.
3. Shots for Apple and Owl today.
4. I dug up my garden yesterday! I pulled up a boot when I broke ground and kept hoping there wasn't a body attached, I'm morbid.
5. I think the girls mom is pregnant.
6. I didn't realize Mother's Day was this weekend, A is with her Dad. He usually takes her for Father's Day so I have every right to ask for her on Sunday, right?
7. I need coffee, a lot of coffee.
8. I hope the Dr prescribes Apple some Tylenol for her shots today, I want it for her teething.
9. I think we are changing the girls birthday themes, apples and owls don't feel fitting.
10. I call the baby Addie (her eventual nickname) and sing Addie bug, Addie bug, Addie, Addie, Addie bug to her all the time, she's started singing Aaa when I sing that to her.
The kids are taking a test today so I get to do this at a normal time.
I often don't get to it until later and then just don't do it. I do read them all.
S is done with school and now we just need her to get a job.
For gods sake I need her to get a job.
It is nice not being a virtual single parent though.
E is having a little trouble adjusting to having S around so much. She is very dependent on me right now and I think S feels a bit left out.
I met my mod goal last night! I have over $1000 and our team has almost $2000. A new record for us!
The weather is supposed to be awesome this weekend. I am so pumped!
I need to find/make a bumble bee barrette for Ella by Sat.
I am so tired of driving up to NH right now. We made the trip up 3 times in the last 5 days. I know we had to twice (grammies funeral and wake) but the 3rd trip was just to hang out.
We will be going up for the next 2 weekends as well. I need a break. I am not moving Memorial day weekend.

1. Still no word on our offer. It's been nearly 24 hours. I don't know what to think of this...We gave them until 5pm tonight to get back to us but still... I figured we would have heard something by now.
2. If they were going to say 'no' they would have by now... right? maybe? hopefully?
3. My horoscope said this week is the best week to buy and sell a house. How weird is that?
4. N's next tooth is coming in. Torture. Anyone have teething tips?
5. We are taking a break from all things 'house' and going to Pride in Northampton next weekend. I can't wait.
6. 23 more (school) days and K is off for the summer!! I can't wait!!
7. Happy Birthday MommyMonster!!
8. I cut 12 inches off my hair last weekend. I absolutely love it.
9. I don't know if I wrote this last week but it's on my mind.. sorry if its a repeat. I started supplementing N, to try to get my period back and it was tough, emotionally, to give him a bottle. We committed and went through 4 types of formula, finally finding one he likes. The whole time I felt terrible, only to have him start teething and begin nursing constantly. So the whole shebang was for naught. I felt awful, wasted a lot of money, and am no closer to getting my period. Awesome.
10. I know this is flame-worthy but I put N in a walker yesterday. We got one for a shower and never returned it. It was hilarious! He loved it! (Disclaimer: We have no exposed staircases. The only stairs on the first floor go to the scary basement, which is locked) He bounced/jumped across the kitchen floor, while I did the dishes.. I laughed and laughed and he laughed and laughed.
1. Yesterday was rubbish. Felt rubbish, rubbish weather and rubbish attitude.
2. I woke up today feeling great! YAY!
3. V had to stay overnight in the mountains last night. She drove out for a call, and didn't finish. She called while I was making her favorite dinner I'm glad though. She changed her winter tires for summer ones last weekend and it was snowing up there, so I'd rather she not attempt driving on the mountain pass in the dark with summer tires.
4. I have a cleaning today - it'll be strange saying that I can't do an Xray because I might be pregnant.
5. I'm not feeling too positive about this attempt. The motile sperm count was really low. I know it only takes one, but...
6. I have a weird fear of earthworms. They are everywhere after yesterday's rain. Blergh!
7. I'm really excited to take my 'work husband' out for a walk today! His wife had a baby a few weeks back, so I've had nobody to take lunch time walks around the lakes in our office park, then yesterday it rained. I'm excited to get moving again!
8. I am a little bit worried about doing yoga in the tww. And wearing jeans that have a tightish waistband. Is this normal?
9. I love my life!
10. Off to get focused and do some work

1. I havent seen my brother in over a week (almost 2 actually...). The mental health break has been lovely but now the guilt is creeping in.
2. My parents are leaving for a 2 week vacation shortly. aaaahhhhh.
3. after I write this, I"m going to go google the recipe for 'zuchinni tots' - sounds yummy.
4. I'm starting to freak out about getting everything done for the adoption party. yes, its two months away, but I know how quickly those 2 months can fly.
5. Despite not doing anything differently, my weight loss stalled last week (I only lost .2lbs)...but in the past couple days its picked up again. Bodies are so wierd.
6. DW told me last night that she was sad b/c it looked like I had lost weight in my boobs. she's such a man.
7. I'm sad we haven't heard from bio mom about visiting the kids. Though at the same time, its been nice to not have the post-visit crazies for a few months.
8. I guess I'll reach out to her this week.
9. Rosebud is getting so big and so grown up. I cant believe the grown up things that come out of her mouth. Its still surreal to me that I can have a full blown conversation with her.
10. Daisy joined us in bed around 2am last night. She took up all the room and I woke with a kink in my neck from sleeping all cramped. But when she woke up and saw where she was and her face lit up with the sweetest little, "my mama!" it made it all worth it. I love that bug. Now stop growing baby girl. stop.it.
1. I was up from 4am-5:30am and could not stop my mind from going 100mph.
2. L is home with Gray. When he went to bed he said his head hurt and when he got up he said his stomach and head hurt. He was really lethargic and didn't even want to g to school when he knew it meant missing his t-ball game.
3. I am thankful that while L had to miss a meeting, she is able to work from home and not have to take leave. If he is out tomorrow I will be home with him and have to take leave.
4. Our cat Simon is still urinating all over the floor. L took him to the vet this weekend and they said that they were 99% sure it was behavioral and gave us tricks to try to stop this. I thought we'd had 2 pee free days, but L found 2 huge places this morning. If we can't get this under control, the outcome isn't going to be fun.
5. We decided not to go to TN this summer to visit L's family. The cost was crazy expensive and her parents are coming to visit us in July. I don't mind going, but I am happy we aren't spending the money.
6. But now because their school gets out for the year on a Wednesday at noon, we have to find childcare for 2 days. Or we might do a staycation.
7. I need to lose weight. A lot of weight. My knees hurt. My feet hurt.My clothes don't fit. I look horrible. I don't know where to start. This is what we keeping me up last night.
8. It doesn't help that in an effort to clean out the fridge/not buy lunch at work, I have chicken salad for lunch.
9. I am secretly hoping that Gray can't go to school tomorrow so I can stay home. Though I know last week when I stayed home with Carter, it took me 2 days to catch back up.
3. I have a crazy headache that won't leave my head.
4. J likes the new house. He keeps saying, "Home! Home! Home!" It's really cute.
5. Our nanny is dealing with some pretty serious personal problems... It's hard to watch and not be able to help.
6. There's remarkably little food in the new house. We moved all of the big stuff, but the fridge in the condo still has all our food!
7. My commute has been a dream. K's, on the other hand, has been a nightmare. UGH. I want us both to have an easy time getting to work - I thought the new place would do it.
11. N's other bottom tooth came in! Holy crap! 2 teeth in a week. His first tooth is so "in" it clangs the glass when I give him water. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
2. Now I'm nervous, will everything work out??? Did we make the right choice??? Yikes.
3. We do love the house and it was a "grown-up decision" the right fit for our growing family if not the old fixer we romantically dreamed of. Hopefully one day we'll have the time and money to buy a vintage home and restore it.
4. I have a preliminary interview tomorrow for a job that I held several years ago at a local non-profit. It was a job I loved and I haven't stopped talking about it since.
5. I would love to go back and maybe even have a flexible schedule to help offset child care.
6. There were 17 applicants, 13 of which are being interview.
7. If I wanted it before now I really want the job - somehow I feel possessive and competitive. But nervous as well (even though my former boss invited my application). I hope... I hope...
8. I have a final due today that I'm not that excited about taking... In fact I've been procrastinating quite a bit.
9. I keep trying to practice staying in the moment because otherwise I think I'd fly apart.
10. I ate an Amy's Spinach Feta "hot pocket" and the taste of garlic is overwhelming. I miss chewing gum and I think I'll have to substitute a chocolate shake from IN & OUT.
1. Happy birthday themommymonster, hope it's a great one.
2. Today is my second day of work at the new job. I am being good and doing this on my lunch break.
3. My new job has billable hours, which freaks me out a little bit. I'm not used to accounting for my time so precisely.
4. C told her Dad about our plans to start a family on Sunday, and he asked a few questions, then launched into a discussion of how she really needs to be going to church. At the time, it puzzled us a bit.
5. Last night we found out his real reasons for thinking we need to be churched, which is worth its own thread.
6. Then last night my sister decided to rehash a fight we had a few months ago, which left me feeling awful and guilty. Overall, not feeling very positive about family right now.
7. C has a surprise planned for me on Thursday evening. I have no idea what it is, I'm intrigued.
8. I'm so excited to be moving to our new apartment in June, but there are lots of logistics to figure out, and I'm a little overwhelmed by how much we have in storage.
9. I'm a bit of a Negative Nancy today.
10. The first week of a new job always leaves me so tired. I could totally nap under my desk right now.
Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm. I am 35 and carrying. Endometriosis and DOR. AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish
4. C told her Dad about our plans to start a family on Sunday, and he asked a few questions, then launched into a discussion of how she really needs to be going to church. At the time, it puzzled us a bit.
5. Last night we found out his real reasons for thinking we need to be churched, which is worth its own thread.
I'd love to hear more about this. We were raised Catholic and switched to Episcopal back in 2003... My mom started going back to the Catholic Church after my Nanny passed away but then the priest said something anti-gay which pissed her the hell off so she stopped. But I know she wants to go back to church and with us actively TTC we both keep thinking about being better church goers as well and now my mom is on a "not all Catholic parish's are anti-gay" kick-----
1. I go back and forth between terrified and thrilled about possibly being licensed in three weeks.
2. If I can't get time off for a new placement... the first few weeks are gonna suck!
3. I wish I could start working part-time right now. I have to wait until either K gets a promotion or we get some debt paid off.
4. I wish I could go back in time to Dec. 2010 and tell my RE, "Get me pregnant as fast as you can, I don't care what it takes". Why didn't I say that? I remember being really adamant about not using any meds, but I really can't remember why that was so important to me.
5. There was a snafu at work and now I can't go on my family vacation. My mom is going to be crushed and I don't want to tell her.
6. I still haven't called the RE to tell them I'm out this cycle. I hate having to say the words.
7. Happy birthday, TMM!
8. Mrs._F- good to see you! I'm glad you're feeling more yourself.
1. I semi recently joined pinterest. We're both loving all of the recipes that I've been trying and I can't wait to try more!
2. We have another insemination next week!
3. My brother and I aren't speaking at the moment. I'm trying to give him space and let him cool off - that's what his wife advised I do. It's really just starting to get to me... I'm sad.
4. I really should sweep and mop the floors in our house today, but I'm feeling lazy. I'll do it later.
5. J is working late tonight, so I think I'll have Mac & Cheese for dinner. After all these years, it's still one of my absolute favorite foods
6. J and I had an amazing day yesterday. We had an early afternoon cookout, Caught up on one of our favorite shows, got ice cream and just cuddled all day. It was so nice.
7. We both want to see The Avengers, so I think we're going to make a date night out of it this weekend. I'm so excited!
8. It feels like fall. Chilly, but only needing a light hoodie. It's a nice little break from the heat that we've been getting.
9. We're on the hunt for another apartment. We will move June or July. Our landlord is giving us the option. We're not sure if we want to stay in our trendy neighborhood or move out to the suburbs. We'll see...
10. I think I'm going to watch tv before doing some light cleaning and making dinner.
1. I pop in here to read usually once a day, but I feel like I never post anymore... so HI! (Even though I'm not here all the time, I'm thinking of you ladies a lot!)
2. I've been bad about email lately too. Sorry, I should be following up with some of you.
3. I was in DC for work yesterday, and am working from home today, so my body can't tell what day it is! My first day in the office tomorrow will probably feel like Monday.
4. Work from home day, so I thought I would get to sleep in a little. Instead I was awake from 5:10 on, because Gwen would. not. stop. nursing. Then she decided she was chipper and rearing to go at 6. Bah!
5. I started talking to her this morning about not nursing in the mornings anymore. She was uninterested in our conversation, but I think I might buy the book on weaning I bookmarked a few months ago. I don't want to wean completely right now, but I'd love to drop the morning session and just do before bed.
6. I want to find a place to try hot yoga, but its so expensive in the city, and the timing isn't right for most places in the suburbs.
7. Not cooking anything big today since we have so many leftovers from grilling Sunday.
8. So if the rain holds off I might take the dog for a walk after work.
9. One of the guys helping my neighbors redo their house came over today to fix our wall... which we've been waiting for a while. Won't be done today and it looks like he won't be back to finish until Saturday. ::sigh::
10. Oh well, not a biggie in the grand scheme of things. Life, in general, is good!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
I'm so happy to see you around here And I'm seriously impressed that you are doing such a great job at recognizing there is an issue and getting help to address it. I hope between the preschool, C's schedule lifting, and therapy you are feeling back to yourself soon - i know how scary that dark place can be.
Seconding everything E said. I've been thinking you and hope your well.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
6. DW told me last night that she was sad b/c it looked like I had lost weight in my boobs. she's such a man.
DW always told me that she was glad when I lost weight it was never really from my a**
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Thanks, ladies. Seriously.
My wife is always telling me how sad she is that I don't have boobs anymore (please note I am still a C cup).
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31! 1. Today was my annual performance review at work. I got a 6% raise and a bonus of about the same dollar amount. So excited -- we need it!
2. To celebrate, I bought a very expensive chocolate bar on the way home from work, which I will be sharing with my wife shortly when she gets home.
3. My computer is toast. It still technically works but there is something wrong with the touch pad/"mouse" buttons so it sometimes highlights the whole screen or "clicks" on things I have not clicked on, minimizes the browser window or moves it around, closes windows etc. It's hard to use. I may have to type this more than once. I was worried about the expense of a new computer...less worried now due to #1!
4. My cat's breath is putrid. She just meowed in my face a couple of times (she has anger management issues) and the stench was nauseating.
5. I am on my 6th day in a row of spotting pre-period. This does not seem like a good thing.
6. Mammogram got scheduled for the 2ww of my next cycle. Still trying to figure out what I'm doing about that.
7. We have started eating the pea shoots, radishes and arugula out of our garden. First edibles of the year -- always exciting!
8. We're going to NJ this weekend for a First Communion. Fortunately we don't have to go to the church -- I don't do well at Catholic masses -- and will be watching a 2.5yo instead. Help!
9. Any day now we will be ordering our first vial of Donor #2! I like him. I'm excited.
10. Getting a new PNV prescription because the old one was about to expire after a year is kind of depressing -- makes me feel like I've been doing this forever, even though we're only 6 IUIs in. "Only" -- ha!

And wearing jeans that have a tightish waistband. Is this normal?
Yes and no. Worrying about everything is normal. I always worry about running, though I do it anyway and my RE says it's fine. Yoga doesn't strike me as a problem though because it's not high impact. And you're on your own with the tight waistband thing!

Then the question becomes...do you have a job for sale? *smile*
The townhouse down the street from us is for sale. Close to the Parkway, across the street from a big field and great playground. Walking distance to the library, community pool, Target, Wal-Mart, Sams, and Panera.
Re: TTT
Which isn't that long, but we talk all the time.
more later....
1. Hi. I'm alive.

I'm so happy to see you around here
And I'm seriously impressed that you are doing such a great job at recognizing there is an issue and getting help to address it.

Two Mommies Healing Hearts

She called while I was making her favorite dinner
I'm glad though.

8. Seriously, why won't my head stop hurting?
More later, maybe...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Thanks, ladies. Seriously.
1. I'm on such high levels of progesterone and estrace right now that I simultaenously want to sob and punch things.
2. I have to skip yoga today because I have a 4:30 conference call.
3. I'm really grateful that I get to work from home so much.

6. Ditto for closet changeover clothing.
7. On my lunch break today I'm getting a mani/pedi and going to target.
8. There are at least two yoga classes I can make it to this week.
9. At least I'm not the bee stuck between the screen and the window that keeps buzzing even though I opened the window so it could get out.
10. I'm maybe a little hopeful that I'll have a positive beta, even though that's really tempered by ...oh hell no inside my head.
1. We're officially in escrow as of today.

9. I ate 1.5 candy bars while writing this post.
10. I love Smash!
Have a great Tuesday!
*DS 6/28/2013*

My wife is always telling me how sad she is that I don't have boobs anymore (please note I am still a C cup).

Yes and no. Worrying about everything is normal. I always worry about running, though I do it anyway and my RE says it's fine. Yoga doesn't strike me as a problem though because it's not high impact. And you're on your own with the tight waistband thing!

Come be my neighbor! There's a great house right next door and of course free babysitting comes with the deal so you and C can go get that hotel room ;-)
Then the question becomes...do you have a job for sale? *smile*
The townhouse down the street from us is for sale. Close to the Parkway, across the street from a big field and great playground. Walking distance to the library, community pool, Target, Wal-Mart, Sams, and Panera.
PM me if you want the listing.
