Is my 5 month old eating to much?

My LO will be 6 months next Thursday. Right now she eats a 6oz bottle when she wakes up at 6, gets another 6oz bottle at 9 then at about 11 she gets a Tbsp of rice cereal mixed with one of those Gerber stage 1 veggies or fruits.  Then at about 1 or so she gets a 5oz bottle, and then at about 4 and 8 she gets 6oz bottles and then goes to bed and STTN. The times aren't a rigid schedule, because of naps and what not but it was just to give you an idea.  It is very rare that she does not finish a bottle, but if she doesn't it is usually the one before bed.  

Am I feeding her to much?

    So your LO drinks about 30 oz a day?? I think that they are supposed to be getting anywhere from 24-32 oz so I thnk you are just fine...HTH

    Some people say it depends on their age, others on their weight. My guy is younger than your LO and he's eating up to 36 ounces a day, because he is still getting up at night to eat as well as 5 bottles/day. My pedi said it was fine, because she goes by the weight formula - 2.5 oz x weight of baby in pounds = total oz formula per day.

    It's a different calculation for breast milk due to the changing composition of BM as baby grows - it's not such a noticeable increase in volume.

    1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
    2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

    My LO is almost 6 months and has been drinking 30 oz a day for a while. We just started with solids,she is still drinking 6 oz bottles 5 or 6 times a day

    I think you are fine. My DD eats lots more then that. She gets nursed in the morn. for 10-15 min. Then by 8am she eats 2 tablespoons of fruit then she gets 4oz bottles and a tablespoon of veggies for lunch some more 4oz bottles then at 630pm she gets dinner and then I nurse untill she sleeps then she STTN. So in all she gets aprox 6Tbs of food and aprox 30oz of milk.
