Half of our twosome is coming home today. Michael was in the NICU for 3 weeks and 3 days and is now 4 lbs 9 ounces and is eating like a champ....we are getting him in a few hours:)
Sister Madison started off at 2 lbs 8 ounces and is now 3 lbs 9 ounces and is already taking 4 bottles out of 8 so I will give her 2 weeks MAX!
I can't wait to bring one home and then the other....
It may be hard to leave her there as we whisk him away but I am thinking the transition may be good for my 3.5 year old and also us to bring them home one at a time...

First of all, I am glad to hear that your little ones are doing so well! I hope your little girl will be joining you at home soon.
I brought my girls home at different times too. It was good in some ways. We eased into having babies at home, and I was allowed to bring Abby back to the NICU to visit Lil, so that made adjusting much easier. Honestly, my days were pretty much the same. The nurses even kept Abby's crib open for her when we visited. The only difference was that Abby wasn't on leads anymore.
I remember feeling pretty guilty about leaving Lil there, but it still felt great to finally be leaving the hospital with a baby.
