Boba 3G question

DS is one month old, the first few times we tried the Boba 3G (in the newborn position) he loved it. Now, he doesn't like it. I think he is getting too long for it (he's 24 1/2 inches) but he's only 12 pounds, 13 ounces so he doesn't meet the 15 pound requirement to move it out of the newborn position. I watched an instructional video were the lady recommended not froggying their legs after 10 pounds but the baby she was demonstrating with was several months old. I don't want to hurt DS's hips by not froggying him too early. His hips do not seem ready to rotate that wide yet.

Any tips or suggestions?

My little guy was too long for the newborn position when we bought it when he was six weeks. We were told to unsnap it so ihe carrier was full size but to still put him in with his legs in the froggy position. It's been working well for us so far.

This for me too. I went in to have it fit since he seemed too tall when I had it snapped down, now I'm also froggying him in it full sized.

  • Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try him in the full size carrier and see if he likes that better.
