teeth brushing routine?

what's your teeth brushing routine? 

i usually give dd2's two teeth a short brushing and then let her gnaw on the brush for a bit while i brush my own teeth.

tonight, i brushed my own teeth first and then quickly brushed dd2's.  she was really pissed that i didn't give her the brush!  she immediately screwed up her face and started crying until i gave her a turn at brushing.

    Pretty much same as you. The instructions say not to let them chew on it, but it's very tough to take it away.

    i was told chewing was fine as it is still brushing their teeth.... wow there are some mixed messages...

     

    C has his in the bath... I brush his teeth and then let him brush / chew for a few minutes - he gets super grumpy if i take it away too soon

    I just brush them before she goes to bed and after she gets dressed in the morning.  I have never given her the brush to chew on so she doesn't know to want to do it (yet).

    I either brush Em's teeth in the bath or just before bed, and always after she is dressed in the morning. She doesn't always chew on it, sometimes yes and sometimes no. But when I am done brushing, she LOVES to have me fill the toothbrush with water and let her suck on it over and over again.

    DS loves to chew on the brush. I brush his teeth after his bottle at night and after his bottle in the morning.

    What I currently do is use the little finger brush after she has her last bottle of the night.  She loves it and gets mad when I quit.  I know I should start doing this more than once a day and that is my plan soon.

    After I get V out of the tub each night I immediately hand him the toothbrush.  It keeps him busy while I'm dressing him.  He sticks it in his mouth, but doesn't really chew on it.  When it is time to actually brush his teeth I take it from him and hold his hands down while I brush.  He hates it. 

    H is in charge of the morning routine and I don't even know if he brushes V's teeth.

    My teeth brushing routine sucks.  I try to remember and do it when I remember, but I do catch it after the last bottle of the night, and for the one bottle he sometimes does wake up for still at night he gets water now.
