Good appointment today

I had my 16 week appointment today and everything seems to be going good.  My BP was a little high when the nurse took it at the beginning of the appointment but when the doctor took it again later it was fine.  The baby's HB was around 150 which is lower than it has been in the past and the doctor said she has a sneaking suspicion that it is a boy since the HB has been falling (it started in the mid-upper 160's and has been going down with each appointment).  Next appointment is the Tuesday before Christmas and our big u/s is scheduled for December 16th!

The wierd part of the appointment was that she had a med student shadowing her today and he seemed overly uncomfortable talking about pregnancy stuff.  She had him feel my uterus and he was the one that did the doppler but he was really shy and awkward about it.  He better buck up and get more used to it if he is going to be an OB!
