in-laws calling EVERY FRICKIN DAY? My husbands stepmom and dad keep calling every day since Sunday (my due date was yesterday) I know they are excited, but how do they think I feel. I'm about to pick up the phone and say....don't call us WE WILL CALL YOU! Thanks for letting me vent.

Yepp. My parents, his parents, siblings, friends, etc. etc. etc. All of them asking if the babies were here yet... because I might just forget to tell them about that, right? I told them I'm turning my phone off for the rest of my pregnancy.

YES. I swear, I get at least 8-10 text messages and at least 3-4 phone calls a day from people checking to see if I'm in labor yet. It was sort of sweet for, like, 1 day and now I just want to throw my phone across the room every time it goes off. NO ONE is more anxious about having this kid than me and DH... LEAVE US ALONE. I try to tell them all they WILL know when something happens. But they seem to not believe me, apparently.

Yes Exactly this! My MIL is the worst...she is constantly "calling" my ipad to do facetime..seriously I don't want to talk about how I feel, I feel exactly the same as I did in the morning when you texted me! ahh..its very annoying ..my husband finally told her that its hard enough with friends and other family "checking in" so if she could just back off a little and we will inform her of things that are happening

Totally. If DH weren't out of state, I'd have shut my phone off last week. Facebook messages too. And if it weren't bad enough I've come down with a cold, so I'm trying to rest and everyone keeps bugging me. My SIL was induced, and will not stop offering advice or info if I want it (being induced tomorrow morning), even though I've already told her if I think of anything I will let her know. So frustrating, because you don't want to be mean, but you really want to tell everyone to leave you alone, and you'll call them when you need/want something.

OMG All of these responses are what I'm going through to a T. Everyone including our local pizzeria & gas station employees are constantly checking in a few times a day. I had to really have a talk w/ my parents, my sister and his parents because it was actually getting to a point of no nothing has happened in the past 45 mins since I've talked to you and yes we will call when it does. I had a mini meltdown on Sat because I was so emotionally drained b/c trust me no one wants this baby out more than I do now.
