Hello all! I'm due Nov 13th.
I wanted to share something OBNOXIOUS and thought maybe other peole might too!
So my ex and I are actually getting along really great, we went out last night to talk about the results of the NT scan. Now, I am not skinny, but my BMI is healthy (as someone who's been obese at 17 that's really a good thing) but I did gain 20 pounds just before getting pregnant. I lost a lot of it with morning sickness but I have some fat sitting right on my stomach it looks pretty awkward. So we get done eating and I'm all full and my stomach looks HUGE after I eat. We sit down to talk a little and he says:
"I have a friend who works out three times a week while pregnant!"
And I literally just couldn't play like that didn't annoy me so I pretty much snapped at him "that's really great, do you think she'll get a trophy?!"
I mean, how effing rude!
What annoys me the most is, I live in Arizona, at my parents house, with a pool. I am using this thing until the day I move out! I have swam about an hour a day every SINGLE day for five weeks already... He may have been saying it for some reason I can't determine, but I totally took it as an obnoxious stab at my fat!
Who has an obnoxious story?

He's here! Kellen born 11/16/12 - 8 lbs 8 oz 22 inches long via scheduled c-section (breech baby, gestational diabetes mama)
I had the same thing happen! My due date is Nov 18th, which is also my niece's bday (on DH's side). It also happens to be DH's Aunt's bday, and niece's father and stepmother's anniversary.
When I told MIL my due date the first thing out of her mouth was "Poor (niece)! She can't have anything to herself!" (She has 8 siblings)
I let it slide, but then everytime my due date came up, she'd say it again! I was so annoyed that I told DH about it (he hadn't witnessed any of these comments), and he went off on her.
The thing that annoys me the most about it is that when niece's father and his wife decided to get married on her bday, MIL thought it was so cute and special to share that date. I however, didn't get to choose the date!
ETA: And when we told our niece the due date, she was super excited, and said she hopes the baby will be born that day!

I had my NT screening on Friday--everything looked great, and the tech said that she was pretty confident we're having a boy. My mom has been hoping for a granddaughter, but I figured she would be excited to hear the baby is healthy and would be happy no matter what the sex. Apparently not. Her response: "Oh...so you're having a boy..." (in the most underwhelmed tone possible). My sister's response: "WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" She then referred to "the family curse," where all the men on my dad's side have girls and all the women have boys.
Seriously?!? My healthy baby is a part of a curse?! And this is after I had a m/c last summer.
Where do they get off talking like that?!
Sorry to break the news to you that my baby's chromosomes aren't determined by your personal preferences!!!
