Introducing my little Ben - Birth Story
I will keep it short and sweet 
Ben was born via scheduled c-section on Monday April 30th at 40w1d. He came out screaming which brought tears to my eyes. DH was able to hold him almost immediately. (When DD was born via emergency c-section it was so stressful and both DH and I felt out of the loop...this experience was the complete opposite). We all moved to recovery together and after a few hours (my blood pressure was scary low for the first hour) we moved to our postpartum room where we stayed until being released from the hospital Thursday. Overall my recovery has been a little more difficult and painful than last time, but I feel a little better every day which is all I can ask for.
Ben is doing amazing. He was 8lbs 5oz and 20 inches long at birth and yesterday at his 1 week appointment he was already up to 8lbs 11oz! My milk came in very soon after he was born and clearly he loves to eat. So far Lily is doing an amazing job adjusting to having her baby brother home. I am not going to lie, having two little ones at home is hard especially because DH went back to work today, but it is SO worth it. I am completely and totally head over heels in love with my family.
