I think I found out a way to keep MIL out of our house......
She's staying with us for the week (from last Thurs to this Thurs). It's driving me crazy. And I know she'll magically have another appointment in a week or two....or three which I'll be 40w then. I have to talk to DH about it. We need our time since this kiddo is coming soon & she needs to start finding her own ways to her appointments. Our house is NOT a motel for crying out loud!!!
Anyways....does anyone think if I tell DH we can have sex more often (to help get the cervix ready), then that would help keep his mom out of the house? Ah man, that's bad, ain't it? Lol!

It's worth a shot but I don't think it'll work. He should be the one telling her that hse needs to becoem self sufficient and that you two need to enjoy your private time before LO arrives without you coming up with reasons.
If the statement does work be sure you hold up your end of the bargain.
Yeah.....that's what I'm worried about lol! We had talked earlier this year (like January) about her not staying so much, b/c it was a weekly thing, & I thought it had gotten through. But her staying this week just rubbed me to wrong way. Especially when she told DH she had an appointment last Friday, then Friday night told us her "real" appointment is this Thursday. I honestly don't know if I should believe her or not about when she actually has an appointment.
I know I will not let her (or anyone) stay with us for the first few weeks after LO is born. I'm gonna be stressed out enough & when she's here there's always the chance SIL will be around somewhere even though she's not suppose to be in the house. And since I've previously been treated for depression & anxiety (b/c of MIL & SIL - it's almost sad having anxiety attacks b/c of a teenager) I have a higher risk for PPD.

Please do this! And if you still can't get her out of this house & she hears you guys having sex either she'll be mortified & leaves (probably thinking her son has married a total freak in the bed) or she'll confront you about it (which would also be priceless) & than you can tell her oh if it makes you that uncomfortable maybe you should stay somewhere else cause I can't help it that your son rocks my world in the bedroom! hahaha!!!
