40 week +1 day appt

looks like cervix is finally softening, she felt the head, estimated weight 7 to 8 lbs.  Since most first time mothers will give birth 5 days prior or 5 days after their due date, they want to wait until Monday to see if the little one will make its way out on its own.  If not I'm scheduled for an ultrasound, and stress test monday, then we will schedule induction for next Tuesday or Wednesday.  I'm hoping for a mother's day baby.  So excited for the week to go by!
