Trouble TTC

A little depressed today.

Not to bring anyone down, just feel the need to vent a little. Truth be told, I haven't been through anything that bad that would make me feel this way, I'm a little emotional today I guess. Today marks the 15th day of Metformin, and honestly I'm sick of taking pills. Other thoughts that have crossed my mind today is the serious need to lose weight. I have started exercising and eating much cleaner, but I'm frustrated at no changes yet aside from sore muscles. Considering Nutrisystem only because of the lack of time I have to cook. Meanwhile, I am so annoyed at the waiting game for my next AF, and can't help feeling that I am running in place right now. There, I had my 5 minute pity party. :)

On 10/23/13 Baby Sophie and Baby Gabriel born at 21+5 weeks. They grew wings and flew away from us. May God bless them always. We love you beans!

  • I'm right there with you. I'm currently taking five pills a day and I'm so over it. With the metformin I'm always nauseous. I just want my appetite back. I eat because I need to otherwise food disgusts me. ((hugs))

  • I'm so sorry that you are having a bad day, I too am in your weight loss shoes. It certainly isn't easy at all. I know you said you dont have much time for cooking, but I found that buying lower carb items is doing wonders. I also found it very helpful to set mini goals. Like when I lost 10 lbs I treated myself to a special item, the more I loss the bigger the treat. I know it sounds silly, but it keeps me totally focused, and I actually look forward to weigh ins.   • Thanks ladies. It helps to know I'm not alone. I shall look into the lower carb options. So far I have cut back majorly on sugar, and get whole wheat/grain instead of white flour items. I still cheat with cookies every once in a while. Aside from that, increasing fruits and veggies, but its a challenge. :)

I still cheat with cookies every once in a while. Aside from that, increasing fruits and veggies, but its a challenge. :)

     

    When my mom was trying to lose weight years ago, her dr. told her, if you want cookies eat a few, if you want ice cream eat some, etc. Because if you do not, when you finally do you will eat the whole bag of cookies or whole gallon of ice cream. Don't beat yourself up over it, its ok, anything less then you were eating before is a step in the right direction!

  • Im sorry to hear you are having a bad day. I understand though. some days i get to the point where im  tried of just waiting for answers. Keep your head up! it will get better!

    Thats exactly what I was going to say...If you don't eat any of the foods that you enjoy like that, you're just setting yourself up for failure.  Those are the treats for doing good!  If you have a bad day and eat bad, don't beat yourself up about it and don't think you failed!! Just pick up where you left off!!  Good luck!! I'm right here with you!!
