1st name to go with middle name (Sally)?

We are waiting to find out the sex of the baby and want to narrow down names.  If we are having a girl, I would like to name her Sally, after my late grandmother.  My husband doesn't like the name so we compromised by choosing Sally as a middle name.  Unfortunately, I can't find a 1st name to go with it!

 

Any suggestions? =)

    You never really hear Sally as a MN. It kind of stands as a first name or a Last name. Alaina Sally Stevens (making up a last name) Indifferent I guess it really depends on your last name.

    I love Sally, but I agree with PP that it just doesn't really work as a middle name.  Sally is traditionally a nickname for Sarah.  Was your grandmother's name Sarah, by chance?  Do you and your husband like that name?

    Or would you be willing to put Sally in the fn position for "flow" purposes and call your daughter by her mn?  Some people are greatly opposed to that, but I have no problem with it personally.

    Thanks for the feedback - I agree, it's definitely a better first name.  Who knew picking names would be so difficult? :)  I figured we would have narrowed it down by 26 weeks but we don't have a name for either gender!
