Well, I think I'm pregnant, but to scared to take a test and see a negative. I just want to throw out my symptoms to all you ladies and am looking for some feed back.
Lately, I have had little to no appetite and I've been feeling nauseous at random points of the day. Mostly when I eat, and more specifically anything with dairy. I get violent feelings of nausea after I eat dairy! Today I slept from 2am until 3pm, and the past two weeks I've been in bed long before 10pm to be up by 6:15am, but have been exhausted from about 8pm on. Some visual things, my lips are chapped and sore and I can see my chest veins more prominently. Chest feels sore, but not around my nipples, more closer to my collarbone and it feels muscular. I also feel drained of energy all the time.
The confusing factor, I had my period last week. It was mostly normal. I was more emotional this time around than normal and it wasn't as long. (Warning TMI) Normally, the day before I get my period I get gassy. Not this time. No gas. Normally, my period lasts 4 days, I have a day of spotting, then a final day of bleeding. I usually have little to no cramps. This time, it was just the first four days and they were fully of back pain and cramps.
I know every woman is different and every pregnancy is different, but I was just wondering if, well, I should get my hopes up or not.
Re: Why Am I Here?
I'm w/Ambsies on this one for sure. DH and I weren't TTC, and I normally have light, 3-4 day periods that are very late once ir twice a year with irregular levels of cramping. I had what I guess is "implantations spotting" or something like that and mistook it for a period. Then when my sore breasts (again, normal for my period) didn't go away, but got worse, I got suspicious, but there was no nausea, so I wasn't sure. It literally took us a good 6-8 weeks to be sure I was preggers. Everyone is different hon.
you had your period a week ago? you're achey, sore, exhausted, and nauseated? Sounds like flu to me.
But really everyone is different.
with #1, I was feeling little twinges (not cramps) in the ute area at 12dpo. Tested on 13dpo and got a positive. That was it. THEN a week later the exhaustion set in. Never got sick.
with #2. NOTHING. Didn't know I was prg. just kept waiting for AF. Finally took a test 4 days after AF was supposed to show. SHOCK.

I completelt understand your anxiety of not wanting to take a test for fear it will be negative! BUT, the great news is... if it is negative you can keep trying.
I have the same fear right now tho... I have been having a lot of weird "symptoms" some similar to yours... only not sick at all... just the opposite... been way more hungry! LoL...
I am 10 or 11 dpo [depending on if you count the O day or not] and AF is due Friday... so... I am going to try my hardest to wait until next Tuesday to test unless ofcourse AF shows up...
Staying VERY busy has really helped me not be stressed about the whole thing. like someone said earlier... our minds and bodies play rotten tricks on us with our symptoms when TTC... for now, I deal with my exhaustion by trying to take extra b-12!! [sublimgual, methylcobalamin, 3,000mcg/day]
Best of luck sugar!
