I'm glad you asked - I hadn't even thought of that. I guess it makes sense - we wash clothes and blankets to get rid of the chemicals and whatnot. Makes sense to do the same thing for any other fabrics LO is going to be in contact with...
I prefer to wash everything before we use it. I've been to China and seen the inside of factories. Some are ok, others are questionable. My DH works in pest control and has participated in fumigations of entire shipping containers because of infestations.
My theory is that supply chains are EXTREMELY long and not always traceable. So, better safe than sorry.
