Share Your Teething Tips

It looks like I'm not the only one with a teething baby so PLEASE help us weary mamas out.

What tips and tricks do you have for teething?

    Hyland's,motrin if old enough,frozen washcloths,ice in mesh feeder and teething necklaces. Razzaberry teethers or Sophie the Giraffe work well yoo.

    Motrin before bed if they are old enough. Ky liked the teething rings from the fridge and frozen fruit in that mesh food thing. I heard somewhere massaging the gums with a soft infant toothrush or fingertip toothbrush can help alleviate the soreness as well.

    Ky was hit or miss with the razzleberry but Sophie was another matter entirely...that poor giraffe never had a chance.

    Best tip I ever got, and kinda scandalous: take a full size carrot, cut it in half, discard the skinny end so the thick end is about 2-3 inches long. Freeze, and then let the kid gnaw on it supervised of course. Worked like a charm, and then Advil at bedtime. 

    And remember that it doesn't last forever- there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

    I'm using a frozen banana.  He loves it.  Probably also scandalous.  The best comfort I have found is nursing, but that won't work for you, Butterfly :) Oh and we have these gum tenderizers..n likes these a lot (link).  And Camilia, a homeopathic aid.  Have her teeth broken through?  rough stuff, eh?

    Her two bottom teeth have come in, I can't tell where this next one is...  If the swelling indicates anything, it should be next to her bottom front teeth.
