Baby Madelyn is here!

I had always suspected that our little girl would be born on 5/5 and I was right. After 40+ hours of contractions (30ish med free), a failed epidural, water being ruptured artificially, a retry of the epidural that finally worked and then a relatively short amount of time pushing, Madelyn made her way into the world. It wasn't easy, but it was worth every minute. Finally home and very sleep deprived, so I'll work on a longer birth story later.

I haven't had time to look back at birth announcements from everyone else yet, but congratulations to all the other May moms who have had their LOs already, and good luck to the rest of you!
