did my water break or is it MP?

Hi ladies!  I've had BHs all day...a few minutes ago I felt some wetness....went to the bathroom and the wetness soaked through my clothes.  It looks like part of my MP came out (and there was traces of blood).  Is it normal for fluid to come out with the MP (or bloody show) or do you think my water just broke?  I'm not having any pain now...just waiting to see if more fluid comes out.  Thanks (excited!)

    Did it feel like you peed and had no control of it whatsoever? That's what mine was like. There shouldn't be fluid with your MP as far as I'm aware. Just mucus and maybe a little blood. Try laying down for a little while then sitting/standing up. See if more fluid comes out

    If it was your water more will come out.  I know I've had some liquidy discharge latley but never enough to soak though my pants and it's just normal pregnancy discharge. When my water broke with ds it was a small leak at first but it was a leak then it would stop until I layed down and got back up or lo head moved.

    If it continues it could be your water and or amniotic fluid... Definitely put a pad in so you can keep track of how much comes out.

    Your MP could have come out with it... It is possible. When my MP came out it came out in chunks each time I went pee.

    You can actually have outer pockets of fluid on your bag of waters that can break. That's what happened when I had DS. I thought my water broke, the fern test came back positive, but when I went to the hospital, they gave me pitocin and then discovered that my water hadn't really broken so they did it then. So basically I was induced.

    I agree with PPs- wait and see if more comes out or if you start having contractions.
