Airline Ticket Advice

I am due May 26.  My parents plan to fly in around that time.  We are debating on getting them one-way tickets, or purchasing round trip and hope by the time they depart, baby will be here and I'll be all settled in.  Does anyone have any advice on what to do in this situation?  One-way tickets are so expensive.  AH!  Thanks so much!

    This is a tough one. My inlaws bought round trip tickets for a two week window - 1 week before my due date through 1 week after. Amazingly I delivered on my due date. I think their plan was to pay the change fee and hope the ticket price hadn't increased if they needed to stay longer.

    If possible, I would wait until you know you are close to delivering and then have them buy their roundtrip tickets. If you want them to be in the hospital when you deliver this might not work -

    They ended up buying one way. SW doesn't fly out of IAH, unfortunately! Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. :)
