I have strep throat, my H is gone all day so I have to take care of 4 kids by myself before driving an hour and a half to pick the 5 kid up from a sleepover, and the baby was up all night.

And Charlie for the win!
Damn, that sounds like an awful day. I hope you feel better soon.
I'm pretty sure I have Mastitis, was in last week and she thought nursing and pumping constantly would clear it up and that there wasn't an infection. However I woke up at 4am feeling like my boob was on fire and now I have a fever, headache, bodyache, chills, you get the idea. BARF is all I can say. I'm waiting for a call back to see if I have to go in again or if she'll just give me the antibiotics as clearly there's a problem at this point

Oh, Jayhawk, that sucks.
You might want to pick up some probiotics and get a script for one of those oral yeast infection treatments too, just in case. I had mastitis 3 times when we were living in the tropics (no nursing involved - FML) and each time I got a raging yeast infection after taking the antibiotics to kill the mastitis. I'd be afraid of getting a yeast infection while nursing and starting the cycle of passing thrush back and forth between yourself and your LO. Taking some probiotics as a preventative might help. Good luck!
I was exhausted last night because I had to listen to DS cry for half an hour. We went out of town, but we stayed too late and had to drive back in the dark. DS is already afraid of the dark, so he was screaming the whole way. I think he was a bit upset still because he insisted on being latched ALL NIGHT! Needless to say I'm the walking dead today.
I think I've complained enough to my husband about him playing his video games instead of helping out with K more, so he decided to "help"
His version of helping out is waking up in the middle of the night when I do to feed K, and just stands in the nursery with us watching while I feed him. When I ask if he wants to feed him, he says "no", so I yelled at him this weekend "Well, if you're not going to feed him then at least go back to bed and stop staring at us because BOTH of us don't need to be awake right now!" Grrrr.

Yep Mastitis it is! One week of antibiotics, so I'm going to try I go get some probiotics tomorrow. Stupid fever is 101 and I'm just miserable.
I'm in the same boat started antibiotics yesterday. Started because he STTN last week so I got a clogged duct...then he STTN again his weekend and the first knot wasn't gone yet so sweats (gross), chills, fever was my day yesterday and this morning. Thanks for tip about probiotics to avoid yeast infection PP!
Re: Monday Moans
There is a new building going up behind mine. As much fun as it is watching the crew work, I could do without the early morning nail gun.
