On Friday I had trouble drinking out of a straw and cup and then noticed my eyes weren't blinking at the same time. Last Tues we found out baby is breech and doesn't have much room to move. We decided against a version. Today the Dr noticed my eye right away and I have an appointment with the neurologist in the AM. She thinks they will give me a short course of steriods. C-section scheduled for 5/15.

Re: 38 wk appt=Bells Palsy and baby is still breech
I am so sorry! Sounds like you are going through a lot! I just found out today (37 weeks, 2 days) that baby flipped to breech after being head down last Monday!! We have decided against a Version, too. They will be scheduling a c-section sometime the week before my due date... will probably find out the date tomorrow, too... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and praying she will flip, but we'll see!! Good luck!!!

Question for you - did they tell you they would do an ultrasound when you got to the hospital before your c-section, to check if the baby is still breech? And if the baby flips at that point, did they tell you what they would do (i.e. induce or send you home)? I have to ask them that tomorrow, but they did tell me there would be an ultrasound before the c-section to check if she flipped (and like you, they schedule it for the 39th week), but they didn't tell me what the procedure would be if she had flipped.

I was told that if he would have flipped before the c section then they would either send me home and let me go into labor on my own or if I was progressed enough to admit me they would. He did not flip and my water broke three days before my scheduled c/s.
Huge piece of advice- start taking Colace a couple of days before the procedure. I did not know this before hand and (tmi warning) did not poop till 10 days after my c/s and it was NOT a pleasant experience.
