Well it's official! The doctor just called with my beta results. Less than 1! I had taken a HPT yesterday, so I knew it would ne gative, but still! I think that I'm going to checkout other RE's. I feel my current one dropped the ball on this one. We originally did our SA in July last year & they didn't recommend us going to a urologist until the day of the IUI. The head nurse (who is the RE's wife) just called with the results of the beta & said that they are less than 1. I told her that I wished that they would've told us about the urologist last year. She said that his #'s usually indicate over heating & that cooling usually helps. The problem is that nobody told us that we should've been cooling before the IUI. I don't know if it would've improved his #'s or not, but now we'll never know!!!!
So now I'm going to open a bottle of my favorite wine that I haven't had because I was afraid I was KU! IF sucks big fat hairy toes!!!!!

Ugh. BFNs are the worst three letters.
I'm sorry it didn't work out this cycle, but I'm glad you're going to switch REs. It sounds like your current office isn't as thorough-- and it makes one wonder, if they're not educating you guys completely, what else are they not doing 100%?
Enjoy the wine. You deserve it!

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. I'm sorry Linda. Hope you enjoyed the wine.
It's a small consolation but so nice to have it there when you get a BFN.
