Trouble TTC

Vent

I need to vent to someone who understands. In the last week I have had about 10 friends (not even kidding) announce their pregnancies, many of them second ones. I really try to be strong  most of the time but I feel like I'm going to break. How come life is so unfair sometimes? How come we have to struggle for one when others can have multiple children with no issues? This really tests my faith sometimes.

Vent over.

  • I feel your pain and it sucks.  I have lost count of all the pregnancies, probably about 15 or more, so not fair.

  • I'm sorry that you are having a rough day MJ. Its seems more and more everyday I am hearing about friends or old classmates that are KU. The closer I approach to 35 ( 5months) the harder its getting to have hope. I was told when I was younger (17) by my then OB not to wait to long to get pregnant that I would probably have issues. I was hardly thinking of a child at 17. But now looking back, errrrr so discouraging.

Life will constantly test us and push us to our breaking points, just remember the end result will make all the struggling seem so distant. Its good to talk to others that can relate with you. I hope that your day gets better and time eases your pain. Take care :-)

(((Hugs!!)))  It's SO unfair. DH and I were just talking today about how bitter we are when people go on and on about their pregnancies or babies. I'm not proud of it, but that's just where we are right now emotionally.

I agree with everything here. OP, I am sorry you are having a bad day, but I hope it gets better and know that here you have a community of women to help support you, as I have seen firsthand for myself today :)

Nikkels, I had the same thing told to me when I was about 22 (they told me I should try to be done having children by age 30) and for a variety of reasons, both personal and medical, I will be 33 next month and have no children (except the furry four-legged kind)

    Happily married since July 2008
    Me = 32, PCOS, AO :: DH = 34, SA= all good!
    TTC since April 2009
9/11 - Started Acupuncture, began O on my own in November!
    1/12 - Consult w/ RE
1/24/12 - Lap & Cystectomy to remove a tumor w/ precancerous cells from left ovary, also removed part of left ovary, no signs of endo noticed at that time
2/12 - forced break to recover from surgery
3/12- given the OK to start treatment w/ RE
3/12 - HSG = right side good, unable to get dye in left tube so cannot verify if it is clear
5/12 - Clomid + trigger + IUI = BFN 6/12 - Medicated cycle cancelled due to cysts, natural cycle instead

I'm so sorry to hear that. Although furbabies to do not replace real ones, they sure do brighten your day! Positive thoughts being sent you way too!!
