Numb spot on right side of rib cage

Would you call the Dr about this? I was having pain on my right side, under my breast/on my rib cage. I think it's from DD being in a weird position for a while, which I will confirm at my u/s on Thurs AM. When I was having BP issues the nurse asked me if I had pain on my right side/on my rib cage and I said yes. Once I described it to her she didn't seem to think it was the type of symptom they were looking for in regards to pre-E/hypertension. Now it just feels numb there. DH's aunt, a L&D nurse, said that something similar happened to her and she now has permanent nerve damage in that spot. Is this something you would call about or just bring up at your next appt?

I had asked one of my docs about this a while back. She said that it's just b/c of how the baby is laying. I still get it every once in a while. I would just wait until your next appointment.

i had this exact same problem from week 24 until baby dropped at 37 weeks. it was just the spot where he decided to (constantly) put his little feet...my OB said i probably had internal bruising there because of his positioning. i wouldn't worry about it too much, but definitely ask your OB

My little guy always had a butt or foot in my right rib and sometimes it would feel numb and tingly in that spot. This is probably what you are experiencing too.
