Hi mamas,
I am new here I have an almost 2 week old LO and am starting to use the moby (love it so far!) - but it is starting to get hot here and he seems to be pretty steamy in there. What do you have the baby wear when it's hot out and you're carrying him in the moby? A shortsleeved onesie only? Just wondering if there are any tricks so I don't overheat the little guy. I had him in a longish footless kimono and his head was pretty sweaty in there even though our A/C was on when I was practicing carrying him around the house today.
Thanks in advance!
Re: Moby during hot months
My LO runs hot, but I had her in just a diaper when it was above about 70 degrees. She would scream otherwise. I could always tell that when I was starting to get sweaty, she was too warm.
Does your baby let you know when he's too hot?
I can't stand the Moby for this very reason, so I have stopped using it. If you like wrapping you might want to consider a woven. I personally have gotten addicted to ring slings and with the right fabric, they are nice a cool.

Someone here recently recommended sleeping baby productions to me and I will be ordering as soon as her add to cart button is back up. I learned a TON from reading her website and links.
I've been using a 3.5 yard x 23 inch piece of gauze (crinkle cotton) tied as a rebozo. https://www.thebabywearer.com/forum/showthread.php?398058-My-Crazy-Long-Rebozo-Hip-Carry-Pic-Tutorial&highlight=rebozo
It's long enough to function as a ring sling and to be tied like this: https://www.wrapyourbaby.com/shortx.htm
It's really comfortable, even in 90 degree weather. Oh, and I got the gauze at Hancock fabrics for 2.49 a yard and got two wraps out of it.
