CafeMom?

Hello! I usually just post on the December '12 board, but I have a question and will probably participate more often, so.... hi! We're expecting #1 and couldn't be more excited!

I stumbled across the Cafemom site today, and there's no info without joining. Does anyone belong? If so, what are the features/benefits of the site?

    I have never joined it, but usually just read their blog called "the stir" if you google cafe mom and "the stir" you can find it. Some of their posts are funny and interesting but occasionally they do get a bit alarmist for my taste (you know like 10 evil things your OB  won't tell you that will in fact kill you) I'm exaggerating a bit, but its just like these message boards, if the topic doesn't interest you don't read it. You can also lurk on their boards without being a member if you search of the stir site.  Their member boards seem to be sorta similar to here, but maybe with a little less snark. Wink

    I belong to cafemom and actually enjoy it due to the fact you can design a profile page and become friends with a smaller network...little more intimate. Kinda like your own social media page..If gives you an opportunity to talk to other moms to be if you want to.  

     I use the bump for knowledge and weekley updates.. I enjoy both of these sites because they offer different experiences
