Re: nursing tanks

  • I got one to wear while I am still pregnant - way more comfortable than a bra lately.  I usually got a large before I was pregnant and I get the same size now also.  Most stores tell you to get the same size as you were pre-pg as they are adjusted.  Since most are made of cotton blends too though it may be a good idea to go a size up b/c after a few washings they are never the same size as they were when you bought them!

  • I would definitely buy a medium and then wait to buy more until your milk is truly in.  I wore smalls pre-pg and even during - now I have a few mediums and I could really use a large!

  • my advise... by a couple of the cheapo target brand ones in a size or so bigger than your pre pg size (you will have some fluff early on... well, I'm 14m pp after #2 and I still have fluff, but after dd it came off quicker, not quick but quicker).  Then when you're a month pp, go get measured for a nsg bra and then by a bravado nsg tank!!! It's the best!  GlamourMom is a close second.
  • If you normally wear a small, I'd get a medium.  Before I wore small or extra small, now I have these HUGE breasts and nothing size small fits over them.  I am continually amazed at just how big my breasts are!
  • thanks for all the advice ladies!!!

  • Coming in late, but I would buy a small.  I have mostly large and one XL.  The large's fit tighter and hold the gut in better.  I would also prefer to feel my girls are under control rather than close to falling out.
