On top of the moon excited...BFP!
Just got my first ever BFP today at cd 34/approx 10 dpo!!! I used a wondfo and got a faint second line and stared at it in disbelief for like 10 minutes. I then used a CB digital test and it said pregnant!
Cycle 2/month 3
What I did this month: green tea, drank more water, prenatals, and first month using opk's
I tried real hard to wait until May 14 bc it's DH birthday and I thought that would make an awesome bday present, but curiousity got the best of me.
Symptoms: not really any except sore boobs starting a few days ago. I just chalked it up to AF coming soon.
How I told DH: Well he got home as I was staring at the first test and I just came downstairs and told him he needed to come up and look at something. After I confimed with CB digi test, I told him to sit on the couch with his eyes closed. I stuck the test in a cute onsie I bought that says "I'm dad's best friend." He and I immediately started freaking out-happy, excited, nervous!!
Although I did more lurking than posting, I just want to say thanks for all the great info I got on this board!

5/21/2012 - SA: same results.
Only shot is IVF (ICSI)
5/31/2012 - HSG: all clear
6/22/2012 - appt with RE, confirmed ICSI is necessary.
8/3/2012 - First IVF Monitoring Appointment
8/17/2012 - Egg Retrieval (retrieved 23 eggs, 3 made it to freezer)
8/18/2012 - OHSS - hospitalized, need to wait one cycle to transfer embryo(s) due to OHSS
8/29/2012 - begin meds for frozen cycle

7/6/2013 - Baby girl born after 44 hours of un-medicated labor, 2 hours of pushing, and emergency c-section due to transverse head. DD was perfectly healthy at 6 pounds, 14 ounces. We are thrilled!!

She said that she has been lurking on this board for quite some time, so clearly she felt comfortable sharing the news. I have been lurking since I posted a few months ago. I have chosen not to participate since we have not officially started TTC and I have not had much to contribute. I am also still figuring out the personalities here before I jump into the conversations.
So are you saying that if I lurk, have been through the arrival of Betty White, saw Haley come and go, etc. that I am not allowed to share an early BFP if I get one? It would be, in some part, due to the information I have gotten by reading this board for the past few months, as I have learned about Wondfos, FF and other things from lurking.
Seems to me her point was to say thank you for the advice. If you do not want people thanking the collective wisdom of the board fine, but most people seem to appreciate being thanked.

Honestly I was planning on posting more after my first few posts but the comments and attitudes of a few girls here make me disinclined to participate. I have put my big toe in the pool, but reading those posts makes me unsure of whether or not I want to jump in and make friends- particularly when those posters seem to be well liked. I do not think I am connected at all nor would I claim to be- I don't know if I want to be connected.
Like I said earlier, DH and I have not officially TTC yet so I have been lurking, learning and deciding if I like the personalities here.
