Hi and Jack is so big! We're trucking along, looking into possible second fresh cycle and RI options for FET. It's a lot of legwork since we have a lot of issues with finding a donor we like and a program we like as well, so we don't really have the luxury of taking things one step at a time.
Fresh DE cycle again or trying with your eggs again?
Oddly, I am at peace with DE. And with Jack, my only bio child, not looking one bit like me. I think it will make it easier if neither kid looks like me. Or ironic if my DE kid ends up looking more like me than my bio kid.
Right now, I am on hold. But definitely moving on to DE after my last craptastic cycle. I want to cycle this summer, but realized that we are looking at around $9,000 for a shared cycle at my clinic. Which isn't bad at all. DH's health plan restarts in October and we can fund his FSA with $5,000 then. So, I feel like it would be wiser financially to wait until October and use $5,000 from the FSA rather than cycle in July since the $5,000 would be available immediately to use rather than taking it from our savings.
Luckily, I guess you could say, my clinic has quite a few Caucasian donors, so it shouldn't be too difficult finding a donor. I am staying away from the frozen eggs program after Reb259's problems. Plus, there aren't as many options in the frozen egg bank at the clinic.

DE cycle. I don't think I make any eggs anymore. Or if I did, they would in fact be lumps of coal.
Resemblance is weird. It can be speech patterns or gestures more than noses and chins that link two people. I'm glad that you're at peace, it's the hardest part of the process in many ways. I'm hoping that the donor selection is easy and that fall brings you very good news.

How are you and what are your plans?
