green/yellow mucus discharge

Sorry if this is TMI ladies, but the past day or two I've been having little clumps of mucus (like penny size).  Every time it seems to be a different color, green, yellow, brown, clear.  The green kind of worries me about an infection as I thought the mucus plug is clear or tinged with blood.  Thoughts?

    I would call your doctor.  My OB says that clear or slightly yellowish discharge is normal but to worry if it turns green.

    Sounds totally normal to me...I lost my mp last Thursday and since then have been loosing chunks of mucus, from yellow to green to brown..pretty much everyday..gross but my dr told me it was normal

    Yellow with a greenish tinge is OK, but bright green is isn't. Just like when you have a cold vs a sinus infection. But, sounds like your MP.
