I'm ebf my baby boy (he is 3 months today). I love breastfeeding and have
had no issues as far as supply or pain. I'm a SAHM and plan to bf for
at least a year.
Lo has taken a bottle in the past, but maybe only gets 1-2 bottles a week. Lately he has regressed and won't take the bottle.
This
became a problem when I was out to lunch today and lo was home with DH.
He cried and cried and hubby felt really bad and a bit jealous that I
can provide for lo in a way that he can't right now.. Of course this
will all change once lo gets older.
Do any of you ladies ebf
without using bottles and how does that work for you? I guess an option
is for me to try to give lo a bottle once a day but that seems like such
a pain.

Re: Anyone not use bottles?
No bottles or cups here. It's all straight from the boob. We tried giving her the bottle/cup early on, but around 5 months, she started refusing it. We tried every possible iteration and no luck. She just will not take it, and she doesn't eat more than a tbsp of solids a day.
The way it works is that I'm never away from her for more than 3 hours or so. 4 hours at the most, when I was still working part-time. I wish I had more freedom, but it's just the way it is right now. I just try to focus on the fact that she's healthy and happy and in no time, I'll be missing the little baby stage.
Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
We did for a while, but around 5 months LO quit taking them. Around then he started going to bed early (around 7) and sleeping for a few hours, so if I wanted to go out without him, I went in the evening. Mostly, I took him with me pretty much everywhere. It hasn't been a problem that was big enough to fight. Now, he takes a straw cup no problem.
So if you want to, you can try different bottles and fight it out. But if you don't, you can just wait it out and eventually it doesn't matter any more.

DD1 took no bottles ever. She was just with me all the time or I'd sneak out for a while after she went to sleep for the night.
DD2 just took 1 bottle the other night for the first time. I don't plan on her taking another until August 4, when I have concert tickets, haha.
This stage goes so fast that I really don't mind it. By the time DD1 was drinking from a straw cup (about 11 months), I decided to never use a bottle - just unneccessary for us.
