If so, how on earth are you going to clean the thing if it gets spit up on? I had the hardest time snapping it in (I have a Graco) and I can't imagine trying to get it off to wash it.
Any suggestions or should I just put her in the bassinet portion and skip the napper? My pack n play comes with the napper and a changing station that snap in (with great difficulty) above the bassinet.
Re: Anybody using Napper part of PnP for nighttime sleeping?
Ditto. This family has already lost one May baby to SIDS. While not my child, it still changes you. Even the bassinet top I'm picky about. Has to have mesh sides.
If I have a PNP similar to this https://www.google.com/products/catalog?rlz=1C1AFAB_enUS474US474&q=graco+pack+and+play&safe=active&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=12851148477433843636&sa=X&ei=-QGoT5jTBIrF2QXf1PisAg&ved=0CNcBEPICMAY
in our room. Can I use the part under the napper and changing portion? There is a second level that is firm. I want the baby in the room for the first couple of months but really don't want to have to buy a bassinet too. I was planning on using the napper part but that makes total sense that it can increase SIDS.
I think the part you're referring to is the "bassinet" portion. We have the same style PNP and it has the option to raise the "floor" up to a higher level, correct? After reading PP's opinion, I'm going to use that part.
