DH has pinkeye, other randomness, and some PIPs

Seriously?!? I'm not a germaphobe and don't usually advocate the use of bleach, but I just went around disinfecting the whole house. I don't even want to know what pinkeye on a newborn would be like. Looks like I won't be sleeping again today.

DD's umbilical stump fell off yesterday so I have officially transitioned to cloth diapers. It took me 15 minutes of fussing with a prefold to get it on her. Luckily she was a good sport. I practiced before she was born but it's not the same as trying to get one on a wiggly baby. And I'm pretty sure she already pooped in it so I guess I'm just jumping right in...

I finally got DD to latch onto my boob and suckle. She went for 20 minutes on each side! It would've been great except now my nipples are incredibly sore and she must not have gotten much because she still took down 2.5 oz from the bottle right after. Sad Looks like I need a visit from a LC. In the meanwhile pumping is going well, at least. I'm finally making enough milk that we were able to drop the formula, and even freeze some for later!
