Bloody show with no apparent mucus?

This might be a wee bit gross. I noticed some brownish blood on the toilet paper after peeing earlier. I have lost some of the mucus plug over the last week but no blood, and didn't notice any loss of it today. It was a small amount on the tp, couldn't be called anything but spotting, and I have seen nothing since. Was this the bloody show? I didn't see any mucus.

I also have painful consistent cramping and my back and legs ache. I have felt this way for a week though.

from what my friends and mom say, yes, it could be. i had the same thing a little while ago but with a little mucous. i have had discharge for the last couple weeks but no blood till today. heres to hoping its normal.. good luck

My bloody show was very unmistakable...it was similar to menstrual blood. The contractions that came with it were very unmistakable too.

When I had DD#1 I lost mucus slowly over a week. Then when i went into labour there was no mucus, I just slowly started bleeding more and more as the contractions picked up. I expected it to be the same this time and was refusing to go to the hospital since it had not happened, i literally had no bloody show. My mom forced me to go to the hospital and 4.5 hours later I was holding a new baby girl!
