Funny names

There is a guy being interviewed on our news named Rowdy Nutt. This cracks me up. Have you heard any good ones? I also know a lady with the same first and last name (its her married name)

From work, there was one kid named Monoxide and his mother called him Mono. I'm sure his mother was thinking, "OMG iT hAz a X iN iT. It MuSt Be CoOl111!!11!" At least, that was what I was thinking when I saw it.  Even worse, is that he's nn'd Mono.

Also, there was a Tyranny, because, yes, let's name our kids after something horrible.

They are not so much as funny as eye-roll worthy.

  • When I was working at the bank, there was a customer who had the last name "Penis".  I am sure it was pronounced "pen-is" but I didn't even try because I know I would have said penis, and laughed.

I had a child client several years ago whose last name was Piggee. Whenever I talked to his mother, I called her by her first name because I was too afraid I would bust out laughing if I called her Ms. Piggee (makes me giggle even now).

Also heard of a woman whose name was Nancy Ann and her maiden name, which I can't remember, was something normal and boring. But she married a guy whose last name was Cianci (pronounced see-an-see) so she became Nancy Ann Cianci ( go ahead and say it out loud - it's so fun!)

This is so sad! We have a patient named L-a. Mom yelled at us when we pronounced it wrong insisting the dash is not silent.

This crazy dude in my county legally changed his name to Captain America. First name Captain, last name America. Getting arrested all the time is his super power.

Oh, I had someone with the last name of Penas. When asked what his last name was, he spelled it instead of trying to say it.
