First Appointment this week! Anyone else??
I have been trying to be so patient for my first appointment, but I am getting more and more excited/nervous at it gets closer. We are going on Tuesday at 10:30 am (the earliest appointment they had).
I am calling tomorrow to ask if I need to do anything to prepare, because no one has told me anything, so since I have no idea what to expect I'm even more anxious! Thank goodness DH is going.

Well, it's not really an appointment, I have to get a 'dating' u/s before my doctor will see me because they don't see patients until 10 weeks but the fact is; I get to see my baby!!!!!!
Yay for both of us seeing our babies this week, I can't wait either!
That's all that matters - getting to see your little one!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Good luck on Thursday, I hope you update us on your first u/s!

I go Wednesday for my first appointment. I've already had an ultrasound which was amazing but I feel like this is really late to have my first prenatal appointment.
Since its just a prenatal appointment and no ultrasound would you take your DH?

Started TTC #2 07/2013 ~ BFP #2 10/11/2013-EDD based on growth is June 26th
Liam born by Repeat C-Section on June 20, 2014 @ 8lbs 2oz 20.75 inches
We have our first appointment on Friday at 1:45! So excited that it's finally here and I'm really hoping all goes well. We'll get an ultrasound and to meet with the doctor but I don't know if it's just a dating u/s or if we'll get to hear the heartbeat. We'll see!
DH already had the day off so I took the afternoon off from school so we can enjoy the afternoon together
Hi, Kelsey! I'm going in for my first prenatal and u/s on Wednesday (looking for a h/b and for growth since my last u/s at 4w). I guess I'm fortunate going in so early! I'll be 6w2d on Wednesday! We can't WAIT!! Only 3 more sleeps to go!

I have my "official" first appointment tomorrow, even though I've gone in twice in the past two weeks because of stomach discomfort and cramping. I doubt they'll do another u/s, but I'm, like you, also wondering what to expect. Unfortunately, my DH cannot come tomorrow.

Also have mine on Tues. (you already knew that though!). Unfortunately my OB doesn't see me until 12 weeks, and I don't think I will get to hear the heartbeat until then
so, there's not much to be excited for about this appt.
So excited for you to see your baby though!!!!!
My first u/s is on Friday! I c-a-n-n-o-t wait!!! I got a BFP a few days before my missed period and scheduled my appt almost immediately... this has been the longest 5 weeks ever!!! This is baby #2 but the excitement/nervousness/anticipation is exactly the same!
Good luck w/your appt tomorrow!! Have tissues handy... it's a pretty emotional moment when you first see your little baby and hear the heartbeat!
Thank you, and GL getting the first appointment out of the way at least! I heard aside from the u/s some women get, the rest is not really a good time. So I will be in the same boat for the most part. Getting poked and prodded! I have a friend who is at 12 weeks and still hasn't had her first u/s!
