What size shoe is your 2.5 year old wearing?

My daughter has a tiny foot and is just beginning to outgrow her size 5 shoes. The pairs I've bought her for summer are all size 6, but are still a bit big. What size shoes does your 2.5 year old wear?

My DS is 2yrs 3 mos and moved into a 5.5 a couple months ago. I would imagine that he will be in a 6 in the next 4-6 months.

DD is the same age as yours and she wears a size 7.

DS is in a size 7 for the most part. A couple of his 6's still fit but most are too small.

Stride Rite has been measuring it at 7 for the two times we've been in (approx. every 3-4 months) and yet she still fits 6.5, sometimes 6.

DD is in a 7 for her shoes but they are big. I just didn't want to buy a 6 now and a 7 in three months. Also, she can put them on and off herself, because they are bigger.

Mine insists on wearing her sister's shoes. They are 7's and 8's. They flop on and off but she does okay. Her true size is more of a 6. Really hard getting shoes to fit her right now. Kind of in between.
